Welcome to The Prospect Prostate Cancer Support Group Web Site
Prospect P.C. Support Group is run by prostate cancer survivors.
It is dedicated to offering support to men who suspect they may have prostate cancer or have been diagnosed as having prostate cancer and feel that they do not have sufficient information or support to decide the best way forward.
We do not profess to have medical expertise, but by sharing our own experiences and thevaluable knowledge gained, we offer our help at this most difficult time for you and your family.

We hold four meetings a year at the Bristol Aerospace Welfare Association at Filton, Bristol starting at 7.30pm. Medical professionals speak on a variety of related subjects followed by questions and answers which often create a lively debate!. Our members then have time to exchange information on their own experiences for the benefit of all. We finish with a buffet.
We have found that knowledge is very much to the benefit of the patient, enabling him to play an active part in the decision making process in selecting the best treatment. One treatment suits all is not appropriate.
We offer a friendly welcome - come and join us. Call Mike on The Help Line now!
We also play a representitive role in attending meetings of:
- The Regional Cancer Services Board
- The RCSB User Involvment Group
- The Urology Site Specific Group as well as several others
